    All you need to do is sign up. After sign up, you’ll have unlimited access to our quote calculator, which allows you to find quotes by simply inputting pickup and delivery addresses or zip codes.

    No. Loadsmart has an online booking mechanism that provides instant booking for most lanes. For the lanes that do not have instant booking available, you will be able to request a call from a representative to get a fast, hassle-free quote.

    We are unable to offer the instant booking feature for lanes with low volume. However, we can give you a spot quote, and you can request to speak to a Loadsmart representative to get a final pricing, which may be a bit higher or lower than the original spot quote.

    For most lanes, Loadsmart has a cut-off time of 1 p.m. the day before pick up.

    The only information you need to enter are the pickup and delivery addresses, dates, commodity and weight. Additional information will be asked after you book.

    If you do not provide the necessary information, your shipment status will be marked as pending. In order for your freight to be moved, you need to return to the platform to complete your booking information as soon as possible.

    Absolutely. Our platform relies on the Stripe platform to process credit cards. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification available.

    You can see the map location of your shipment online at anytime. Loadsmart also keeps you informed by sending you email updates.

    The loads find you! We send you live loads based on your preferences, called “Live Jobs.” We call them live jobs because they are displayed in real-time as soon as we receive a shipment order, and you can accept the job instantly in just one click. All relevant loads are displayed in the Live Job boxes on the right side of your fleet screen. We also send out emails to alert you to any Live Jobs in your area.

    Don’t worry! If no Live Jobs appear on your screen and you don’t receive any email alerts, it means we don’t have any Live Jobs available at the moment. As soon as we have live jobs available for you, we’ll send them your way.

    You don’t need to post your trucks. We will send Live Jobs directly to you Loadsmart dashboard and to your email. When you click “Accept” on a load, it’s yours. No phone calls, no delays, no back and forth.

    Yes, Loadsmart provides a platform that allows you to see and manage your trucks and shipments, electronically keep track of documents such as the BOL and chat with your drivers.

    Do you provide the GPS trackers for my fleet?

    We offer a plug-and-play GPS device for selected fleets. The device simply plugs into your truck’s cigarette lighter port and velcroes onto the dash. This allows you to track and manage your fleet more efficiently. Loadsmart is also able to send you better Live Jobs based on the location of your trucks. This information is completely confidential and is used only by Loadsmart to send you better business.

    Of course! Owner-operators are welcome to use Loadsmart to increase their business.

    No. Loadsmart deals with dispatchers only. Company drivers may be contacted only if they need instructions about how to operate our smartphone app.

    The driver you have assigned to the shipment will receive a text message on his smartphone. You have to make sure your driver clicks on the message's link to download Loadsmart's app. Driver needs to use the Loadsmart app during the whole shipment.
